Job Summary
Provide individual and group tutoring for PN and ASN students and graduates awaiting NCLEX testing via walk-in or scheduled appointments. Clarify course content, utilize listening and questioning strategies to diagnose needs, and support students in developing research and study strategies. Model respect for diverse cultures and learning styles to foster confidence and self-directed learning. Submit weekly reports on student progress to the Nursing Dean. Work 4-12 hours weekly Monday through Friday from 9AM to 6PM.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing
- Must commit to working between 4-12 hours per week during our established campus hours, Monday through Friday 9AM-6PM
- Official transcripts required upon hiring
- Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks, including criminal background check, and offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome
Desired Qualifications
- RN Licensure
- Maintained a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
- Prior Tutoring or teaching experience
