RN Triage - Medical Group Central Triage

Triage patient calls, result notes, and chart advice requests while sorting and prioritizing clinical pool messages per protocol. Assess and manage patient health concerns via telephone interactions, providing patient education and crisis intervention as needed. Enter complete notes in the EMR system and accurately communicate lab values and telephoned reports. Perform preliminary patient assessments including vital signs and subjective information, instructing patients on home care procedures. Determine urgent issues requiring immediate attention such as high fever or behavioral health crises. Supervise Medical Assistants on prescription refill requests and prior authorizations.
