Job Summary
Assess caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education, and advanced problem-solving while managing acute and preventative interventions via inbound and outbound telephone practice. Perform phone triage, patient education, continuous Glucose Monitor placement and testing, and handle insurance pre-authorization and referrals. Clean and stock exam rooms under the direction of the Supervisor. Requires current Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification with AHA. Part-time schedule of 20 hours per week, two 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including some travel to other locations.
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois RN licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA)
- Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbal
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.
- Self-starter, able to handle periods of high stress
- Travel Required
- Flexible hours to meet operational needs
