Job Summary
RN-Traveler Step Down provides direct nursing care in a step-down/acute care setting under established policies, coordinates multidisciplinary care, implements and monitors patient care plans, and coordinates discharge planning. Requires a nursing diploma, BLS within 30 days, and RN licensure (compact or applicable state license) with at least one year of acute care RN experience. This travel/contract role involves serving as primary nurse coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care and executing physician and nursing orders while supporting patient discharge planning; hospital environment within Ascension system.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire date
- Registered Nurse license (compact or state RN license)
- Diploma from accredited school/college of nursing
- One year of RN experience in an acute care setting
