Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination across the continuum of care. Collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate care while demonstrating full scope of nursing expertise within assigned settings. Manage rotations through weekend call and holiday shifts while adhering to state licensure and Nurse Practice Act standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
