Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and manage patient triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards while caring for patients in all phases of health maintenance and diagnosis. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards designated for the assigned clinical setting. This 14-week contract includes a weekly pay rate of $3010 with a travel stipend and offers eligibility for Sanford benefits. Candidates must hold at least one year of RN experience, six months of travel experience, and live within 60 miles of the Chamberlain, SD location.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
