Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and manage patient education and triage across the continuum of care. Assess patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Coordinate care planning and implement interventions within the full scope of nursing expertise for patients moving along the continuum. This 14-week rotating contract requires at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience, with a requirement to live 60 miles from Chamberlain, SD. Weekly pay includes a stipend and eligibility for Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
