Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and manage patient triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards for assessment, diagnosis, and outcomes evaluation. Coordinate care planning and implement interventions for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and diagnosis. Maintain unencumbered RN licensure and complete required departmental competencies. Live at least 60 miles from the Chamberlain, SD location for this 14-week rotating contract with weekly pay and travel stipend included.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
