Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care planning, and manage patient triage, assessment, education, and follow-up across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state practice standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. This 14-week rotating contract requires at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience, with a requirement to live at least 60 miles from Chamberlain, SD. Weekly pay includes a stipend and access to Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
