Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage across the continuum of care. Manage patient phases including preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and follow-up while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and population-specific standards for the assigned clinical setting at Chamberlain Medical Center. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, with a live radius of 60 miles. Contracts are 14 weeks with weekly pay including stipend and eligibility for Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
