Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) traveler responsible for providing nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) in collaboration with inter-professional colleagues. Practices within the full scope of nursing knowledge and adheres to patient care standards across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. Manages patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions; coordinates care with physicians and healthcare teams; contracts are 14 weeks with potential to extend or transfer to another Sanford site. Shift: night, 12-hour increments; location Fargo, ND; BSN preferred; licensure: unencumbered RN per state requirements or multi-state (NLC).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
