Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols in an acute-care Med Surg setting. Implement and monitor patient care plans, assess and communicate patient condition, and serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Requires BLS Provider within 30 days of hire, an RN license (compact or state-specific) prior to start, a nursing diploma, and at least one year of acute-care RN experience.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- CompactRN license or state RN license
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- One year of RN experience in an acute care setting
