Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in labor and delivery or postpartum units, supervising staff and directing activities according to established standards. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues, developing and implementing intervention plans while evaluating progress toward outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane care, participates in discharge planning for continuity, and delegates duties to team members. Requires two years of labor and delivery experience, BSN preferred, and ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications. Full-time travel role based in Roseville, California.
Required Qualifications
- Two years' labor and delivery experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- STABLE certification
- Advanced Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
