RN Trauma Manager

Job Summary
Coordinate Trauma Services daily operations to ensure safe patient flow, proper staffing, and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. Manage the collection of Trauma data for the Registry, track patients from pre-hospital to rehabilitation, and lead educational programs for the institution and community. Monitor key performance metrics, oversee resource allocation, and collaborate with physicians to improve patient outcomes and department readiness. Requires current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications, plus three years of acute care emergency department experience. Full-time days shifts at Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA)
- Current ACLS (AHA)
- TNCC
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute care hospital emergency department
- Excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Team approach to patient care
- Working knowledge of computers and computer applications
- Day and evening flexibility
Desired Qualifications
- Teaching and coordination of educational program experience
- ENPC and CEN or CCRN
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
