Job Summary
Listen and respond to requests from transferring physicians, hospitals, and co-workers while ensuring all paperwork and computer entry is accurate. Continually enhance knowledge regarding processes and prioritize customer service. Manage multiple tasks with efficiency and organizational skills, triaging orders based on urgency using multi-line telephone and computer systems. Work weekends and holidays as scheduled. Requires Alabama RN license and preferred critical care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Alabama RN licenses
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude toward members of the health care team
- Diplomacy
- Time management skills
- Efficiency and organizational skills
- Ability to do more than one task at a time
- Ability to appropriately triage the order of tasks based on urgency of the need
- Ability to use multi-line telephones
- Computer skills
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
