Job Summary
Provide direct patient care as a Medical-Surgical RN on the night shift, coordinating safe patient care delivery for diverse patient populations. Assess patient/family needs, develop and prioritize goals, evaluate care delivery, and continually revise the plan of care to meet biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs. Delegate care as appropriate to optimize patient outcomes and comply with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
Required Qualifications
- Current Kansas RN Licensure
- Associate’s degree in nursing
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
- Tele, ICU, and PCU require ACLS
- Post-surgery requires oncology certification
- All required certifications must be completed within the first year of employment
- Preferred Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- At least one-year recent experience in a similar healthcare setting
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
