Job Summary
Staff RN – TG Float at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital (0.9 FTE, Day shift). Organize and deliver nursing care using the nursing process; collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost efficiency; foster a learning environment for patients, families, and staff; advocate for ethical, holistic care with attention to diverse backgrounds. Requires BSN (or obtained within 5 years), RN license in WA (or MLS), and BLS; 2+ years of acute care experience. Advanced nursing degree (MSN/PhD/DNP/ARNP) preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or obtained within five years from date of hire
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Current BLS Certification
- Two (2) years of experience in an acute care setting
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
