Job Summary
Throughput Center RN (Throughput/Nights) coordinates patient transfers and admissions remotely, serving as the clinical expert for providers and facilities initiating transfers, assigning patients to units based on criteria, and coordinating staffing and nursing logistics. This fully remote role requires an RN licensed in Missouri, with strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient bed placement, smooth patient flow, and a high-quality patient experience across Mercy’s East Region. On-site presence within 1 hour of designated Mercy Hospitals is required for technical issues, with shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, available 3–12 hour schedules.
Required Qualifications
- RN License
- Current RN license in the state of Missouri
- BLS required
- 3+ years in Telemetry or higher acuity nursing
