Job Summary
Remote RN role in Mercy’s East Region Throughput Center. Responsible for coordinating patient placements and transfers, assigning patients to units based on criteria, and coordinating staffing and logistics through EMR and scheduling systems. Requires RN license (Missouri), BLS, and 3+ years in telemetry or high-acuity nursing. Fully remote position with on-site presence within 1 hour of specified Mercy locations; shifts include 6:45p–7:15a. Focus on patient placement, bed planning, and interdepartmental collaboration to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain “contagious calm” in high-pressure situations.
Required Qualifications
