Job Summary
Remote RN for Mercy’s East Region Throughput Center responsible for coordinating patient transfers and admissions, bed placement, and staffing logistics. Requires an active Missouri RN license, BLS, and at least 3 years of telemetry or higher-acuity experience. The role is fully remote with a requirement to reside within 1 hour of specified Mercy hospitals to allow on-site presence for technical needs. Shifts are 6:45pm–7:15am (3–12 hour shifts). Responsibilities include coordinating patient transfers, assigning patients to units, and using EMR/electronic scheduling tools to ensure efficient, safe patient flow and strong communication with providers and care teams.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in Missouri (Current)
- RN license in the state of Missouri required
- BLS certification
- 3 years in Telemetry or higher acuity nursing
- Ability to work remotely via phone and computer
- Must reside within 1 hour of Mercy hospitals listed (St. Louis, Festus, South St. Louis County, Washington MO, Troy, Cape Girardeau)
