Job Summary
Remote East Region Throughput Center RN role focused on patient placement, bed planning, and transfer coordination for Mercy Hospitals. Responsible for assigning patients to appropriate units, coordinating staffing and logistics, and guiding providers through transfers using EMR systems and scheduling tools. Requires an active Missouri RN license, 3+ years in telemetry or higher acuity nursing, and BLS certification. Works remotely with on-site presence within 1 hour of listed Mercy locations; shifts include 6:45p–7:15a. Emphasizes communication, coordination, and compassionate, efficient patient intake and transfer processes.
Required Qualifications
- RN license – Current RN license in the state of Missouri required.
