Job Summary
Serve as an integral member of the health services team in an assisted living setting. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating resident services; maintaining resident records; ensuring adherence to policies; coordinating with the Director of Nursing; supervising nursing staff; and recognizing and managing common geriatric syndromes. Requires current MN RN license, strong communication, organizational skills, experience with computerized resident records, and ability to supervise medication practices. The role is full-time (32 hours/week) in Hopkins, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Current MN license as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of one year experience in assisted living (preferred)
- Good organizational skills with ability to self-start and follow through with initiatives with minimal supervision
- Exhibits a caring heart with a passion for caring for the elderly
- Possesses good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using a resident record computerized system
- Supervise medication practices and the use of medical equipment within the facility
