Job Summary
RN Telestroke - vNeuro Outpatient (F/T Days Remote) supports stroke patients via telemedicine with a multidisciplinary team. Provides quality care adhering to stroke protocols across multiple hospitals, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and participates in data collection for stroke patients. Requires RN with ADN, state licensure, and 2 years of direct neurology/acute care experience; BLS, NIHSS within 1 month, and SCRN within 3 years. Monday–Friday days, 40 hours weekly, remote; location at Chesterfield, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Licensure: State Licensure in the state of practice; current RN Temporary Permit/RN; multi-state licensure required within 6 months of hire
- Certifications: BLS; NIHSS certification within one month of hire; SCRN within 3 years of hire
- Experience: 2 years direct patient care in Neurology patients in acute care; Adult Med/Surg or Emergency Department experience
- Preferred Education: BSN
