Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (Telemetry) provides direct patient care in the telemetry unit using ECG monitoring and vital signs, administers medications, responds to emergencies, and collaborates with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Responsibilities include documenting care thoroughly, maintaining infection control standards, analyzing telemetry data for trends, and educating patients and families about conditions and post-discharge care. Requires active RN licensure and BCLS certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be preferred. Focuses on cardiac health, safety, and quality improvement while adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting required
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
