Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement nursing care for patients in a telemetry intermediate care setting using the nursing process. Assign or delegate tasks to LPNs and support staff based on patient needs and skill levels, while managing charge duties including assigning lunches. Lead interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care, promote patient safety initiatives, and participate in department-specific quality and evidence-based practice projects. Provide verbal and written feedback to peers, supervise delegate scope of practice, and continuously evaluate patient and family satisfaction. Maintain a safe environment by analyzing health status data, documenting interventions, and resolving patient concerns through compassionate, patient-centered communication.
