Job Summary
Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement patient care plans for individuals and families while ensuring appropriate order sets are used. Provide leadership by mentoring staff, assigning duties and lunches, and supervising LPN scope of practice. Participate in interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care and promote patient safety initiatives such as National Patient Safety Goals. Deliver verbal and written feedback on clinical practice, resolve patient and family concerns, and continuously evaluate satisfaction. Document condition changes, notify physicians, and intervene appropriately while maintaining a safe environment. Work nights for 36 hours with a commitment to lifelong learning and evidence-based practice.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- CPR certification
- Compliance with Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)
- Adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations as well as company policies and training requirements
- Adherence to the company's Code of Business Conduct
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Certification in area of specialty
