RN Telemetry Acute Cardiac

Assess patient conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status. Perform procedures, monitor patients for therapeutic response to medications, and take appropriate action for unintended reactions. Administer prescribed medications, document care administration thoroughly, and respond promptly to patient requests while proactively anticipating needs. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures to ensure complete understanding. Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support, and Registered Nurse certification within 90 days of employment start date. This role requires an Associate Degree and is part of Trident Health's 445-bed system serving nearly 375,000 South Carolina residents.
