Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with heart failure, post-cath procedures, severe sepsis, strokes, and pulmonary edema in a 20-bed cardiac monitored unit. Assign or delegate tasks to LPNs and support staff, manage charge duties including staff lunches, and lead interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care and quality initiatives. Provide verbal and written feedback to peers, promote patient safety goals, and continuously assess patient conditions to intervene and document appropriately. Maintain a safe environment, resolve patient concerns, and participate in department-specific quality and satisfaction initiatives while adhering to hospital policies and time guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- CPR certification
- HIPAA compliance
- Code of Business Conduct adherence
- Adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
- Company policies and training requirements compliance
Desired Qualifications
