Job Summary
Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and patient families to identify and meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process while adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values across Critical Care, Surgical Services, Medical Surgical, and ED units. Float to multiple facilities in Colorado, Western Kansas, and Utah to support staffing needs. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and 24 months of direct RN experience in the specialty area.
Required Qualifications
- RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
- Colorado Only: RNs working in Colorado under a multi-state license must obtain their CO RN license within 30 days of establishing residency
- Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required
- BLS from the American Heart Association required
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to unit type or specialty area
- Must be available to travel to all facilities (Colorado, Western Kansas, and Utah)
- Full Time/Part Time: 24 months of hospital RN experience in unit type/specialty area in which candidate will float
- PRN: 24 months of experience in unit type/specialty area
- Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
