Job Summary
RN on Neuro/Trauma ICU unit providing comprehensive patient care: assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care; supervises non-RN personnel; as Charge Nurse delegates and oversees unit activities; may rotate to other units; demonstrates neuro assessment and airway management, care for trached patients, and procedures such as suctioning and ventilator care; involvement in teaching and education through the Tia program; preceptor to new staff; adherence to unit policies, performance expectations and patient-family-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing; BSN Preferred
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
