Job Summary
As a leader in the Surgical Subspecialty Unit, the RN will provide patient care using the nursing process in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code for Nurses. Responsibilities include delegating tasks, managing nursing team resources, assessing patient needs, effectively utilizing the nursing process, and maintaining knowledge of regulatory requirements. Proficiency in computer and communication skills is necessary, along with effective interpersonal abilities and sound judgment. Required qualifications include a nursing degree and RN license, as well as BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Certification in clinical specialty area
