Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Surgical Services providing physical and psychosocial care to patients during pre- and post-operative phases. Responsibilities include assessing and interpreting patient data, intervening appropriately, and complying with hospital policies. Requires an Illinois nursing license, BLS certification, PALS, and ACLS certification. One year of medical-surgical nursing experience is mandatory, with critical care experience preferred. Full-time position with a salary range of $32 to $48 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois Nursing License
- Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross PALS) required within 3 months of hire date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross ACLS)
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing
- One year medical-surgical nursing experience required
