Job Summary
Conduct nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care within Piedmont's 28 Georgia hospitals. Coordinate patient care activities for assigned staff and maintain standards of practice across surgical services, IR, cath lab, and GI lab environments. Provide professional growth and accountability while utilizing state-of-the-art technology to strengthen patient services. Maintain BLS certification and specialty competencies required for designated assignments. Work flexible 36-hour weeks with options for per diem shifts after initial contracts, supported by competitive pay and a diverse, inclusive culture.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- Minimum of two years of work experience in performing professional nursing duties within area(s) of specialty
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification
- Maintain any and all competencies and certifications required for area(s) of specialty (e.g. BLS, ACLS, skills validation, online education, compliance training, etc.) as determined by the Clinical Operations division
