Job Summary
RN Surgical Services Liaison with focus on CUSTOMER SERVICE. Requires strong communication, ability to access resources, problem-solving across multiple departments, and effective communication with physicians regarding patient and family issues. Must function in the Surgery/Perioperative area to facilitate patient flow; requires nursing qualifications (RN with ADN/Diploma/BSN) and current Kansas licensure or active compact license; BLS certification; CNOR preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree Nursing, Diploma, or BSN
- Current RN license from Kansas Board of Nursing or active compact license
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- CNOR and/or specialty certification preferred
- Experience in Surgery; circulating and scrubbing
- Knowledge of AORN Standards/Recommended Practices
- Knowledge of PNDS (Perioperative Nursing Data Sets) a plus
