RN Surgical Services CVOR

Registered Nurse for Open Heart CVOR with sign-on bonus up to $15k. Responsibilities include evaluating patients prior to surgery, providing perioperative education to patients and families, preparing patients (IV therapy, preoperative meds, site verification), participating in surgical site verification and universal protocols, recognizing and responding to emergencies, delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a dynamic interdisciplinary team, and educating patients about medical conditions, treatment, and follow-up. Requires BCLS and a 4-year nursing degree (BSN or equivalent) or an ASN with eligibility for RN licensure. Experience and skills in cardiac surgery perioperative care, patient safety, and leadership within the OR workflow are desired.
