Job Summary
Provide patient care using the nursing process in the operating room for orthopedics, urology, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, and general surgery cases. Coordinate care with other departments and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers while maintaining patient confidentiality. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients and ensure duties align with Mercy Service Standards. Requires one year of RN Operating Room experience, a current state RN license, and BLS certification. No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of RN Operating Room experience
- Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- current RN license in our state
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
- PT DAYS
