Job Summary
Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for patients on a mixed unit covering General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice services by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. Work full-time hours from 7pm to 7am, including every third weekend and rotating holidays, at Endeavor Health's Elmhurst Main Hospital. The role requires an RN license in Illinois and current CPR certification, with a preference for one year of inpatient nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within four years of start date into position
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Nursing
- 1 year of inpatient nursing experience
