Job Summary
Plan, implement, and evaluate the patient plan of care for all patient populations on the mixed unit of General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care while maintaining current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure and CPR certification. This full-time role involves 36 hours per week, scheduled from 7pm to 7am with every third weekend off and rotating holidays. Endeavor Health serves a community of over 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties, operating eight acute care hospitals recognized for nursing excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within four years of start date into position
- 7pm-7am shift
- Every 3rd weekend off
- Rotating holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Nursing
- 1 year of inpatient nursing experience is highly preferred
