Job Summary
Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care on the mixed unit of General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. Maintain current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure and CPR Certification, and hold a Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within four years of start date. Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing or higher, with a Bachelor's Degree required within five years for those holding only an ADN. Work 36 hours weekly from 7pm to 7am, including every third weekend and rotating holidays. Endeavor Health serves over 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties with eight acute care hospitals recognized as Magnet facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within four years of start date into position
- 7pm-7am shift
- Every 3rd weekend off
- Rotating holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Nursing
- 1 year of inpatient nursing experience is highly preferred
