Job Summary
Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care on a mixed unit of General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. Maintain current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure and CPR certification, and hold a Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within four years of start date. This full-time role requires 36 hours per week, scheduled from 7pm to 7am, with every third weekend off and rotating holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within four years of start date into position
- If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date
- RN Diploma Nurse if position start date is prior to September 1, 2021
- Current incumbents with an RN Diploma are grandfathered
- 7pm-7am with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays

- 1 year of inpatient nursing experience
