Job Summary
Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for patient populations on a mixed unit of General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. Maintain current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, CPR certification, and a valid Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within four years of start date. Complete a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years if holding only an Associate Degree. Work full-time 36 hours weekly from 7pm to 7am, with every third weekend off and rotating holidays. Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within four years of start date into position
- If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date
- RN Diploma Nurse if position start date is prior to September 1, 2021
- Current incumbents with an RN Diploma are grandfathered
- 7pm-7am with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays

- 1 year of inpatient nursing experience
