Job Summary
Coordinate patient care, triage, and transitions in the Surgical Oncology clinic while developing individualized health plans for patients and families. Collect and document assessment data, implement plans of care with interdisciplinary teams, and administer medications per standard protocols. Provide effective patient education and discharge planning, acting as a resource for staff and student nurses while maintaining strict confidentiality. Work collaboratively with providers, fellows, and ancillary departments to deliver patient-centered care aligned with UAMS Core Concepts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Associate's degree in Nursing, Diploma RN, or Master's degree in Nursing
- Must be a graduate of an accredited RN nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nursing experience
- Valid Registered Nursing License
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethics and accountability
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Annual TB Screening
- Criminal Background Check
- Substance Abuse Testing
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- One or more years Oncology Nursing experience
- Current BLS, National Nursing Certification
