RN-Surgical ICU

Registered Nurse in Surgical ICU on a Neuro-focused unit. Assesses patients’ physical and psychosocial condition, develops and documents individualized plans of care, coordinates care with the healthcare team, and evaluates outcomes. Serves as a preceptor to new staff and as a charge nurse. Demonstrates proficiency in neuro assessment, airway management, suctioning, care of trached patients, and care for patients on ventilators, including special neuro procedures. Provides patient and family education, supports discharge planning, and ensures high level of service. BSN preferred; CT RN license required; BLS required; Med/Surg RN experience is required.
