Job Summary
Deliver professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and record pertinent observations. Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and function as a team member to fulfill unit goals. Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting and current Illinois licensure. Schedule includes days 7:00am-7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing
- 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Basic Life Support
- Full Time: 36 hours/week
- Days 7:00am-7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays
