Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients while maintaining professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality of information are upheld consistent with Mercy Service Standards. This MedSurg role serves as a stepping stone into ICU and ED units, offering experience with patients preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical interventions.
