RN Surgical Cardiac 3

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for patients preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical interventions. Maintain professional accountability for the assigned patients and coordinate care in conjunction with other departments. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality of information are upheld. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards within the MedSurg Service Line, which houses varying patient populations and diagnoses. This role serves as a stepping stone into ICU and ED units.
