RN, Surgery Unit, 2nd shift

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, document findings, and establish care plans based on patient diagnosis, lab data, and physician orders. Administer medications, monitor IV fluids, and coordinate daily care with the health team while providing patient and family education. Perform specialized care for high-risk patients, including restraint management and infection control protocols, and delegate tasks to appropriate team members. Supervise students and new staff, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and ensure all documentation meets hospital standards.
