Job Summary
RN - Surgery / Surgical Services: Provide patient-centered nursing care in the operating room/surgical services per ANA Standards of Practice. Role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, communication, and evidence-based practice within Yale New Haven Health System. Requirements include BSN preferred, CT RN licensure, and BCLS certification with SPIRE clinical advancement encouraged; experienced OR RN preferred. Location York, NY; standard full-time engagement; diverse, culturally congruent practice and adherence to professional practice model guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- BSN preferred
- Current BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
- Experience in OR nursing (Operating Room) preferred
