Job Summary
RN - Surgery / Surgical Services role within Yale New Haven Health System. Responsible for professional nursing per ANA Scope and Standards, coordinating care, health teaching, collaboration with patient, family and healthcare team, and upholding ethics and professional performance. Emphasizes leadership, delegation, and evidence-based practice in delivering patient-centered care in a surgical services setting. Must hold an active Connecticut RN licensure and meet BCLS requirements; BSN preferred. Coordinates care across the care continuum and adheres to professional governance and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire
- BSN preferred
