Job Summary
RN - Surgery / Surgical Services with responsibilities rooted in ANA Standards of Practice: perform professional nursing within legal/ethical frameworks, conduct assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation; coordinate care, health teaching and promotion; uphold ethics and culturally congruent practice; collaborate with patients, families, and health care team; lead and educate as part of professional practice; support evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement; BSN preferred; CT RN licensure required; BCLS certification required within one month of hire; SPIRE clinical advancement program encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Clinical specialty certification encouraged
